The brief is to design an identity for a range of Australian wines (Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon).

The whole design of this project is based on the concept of folklore. Australian folklores play a vital role in Australian Aboriginal culture. The story helps them to understand the land, the universe, the people, their culture and their history. For instance is the story of how kangaroo got her pouch.  Some of the stories are literally true and some are not.

Celestale wine was built by its own story. It involves the story of a spirit who presents a thriving vineyard  to one humble hardworking man.  The creation of Celestale comes from this vineyard which takes place in the Barossa valley. The name Celestale bear the meaning of wine that is a gift from the heaven.

The concept of the wine is clearly illustrated through the handrawn stroke on the label.  Hands offering the wine barrel and surrounded by the smoke represent the existence of a spirit that is part of the story. The outback shows the image of the fertile vineyard of Barossa valley. The illustration is done on a kind of old texture background and paper choice to enhance the feeling of the folklore concept .
